USA Today: Labor fight threatens inmate health care
4/14/2016 12:00:00 AM
USA Today published a story on 14 April about the continuing dispute between Commissioned Corps officers and civilian staff at the Bureau of Prisons (BOP). BOP currently employs 870 officers, the fourth largest group of officers by agency. COA Executive Director Jim Currie is quoted several times in the story. The story can be found here. It is also posted on the COA Facebook page. This is part of an on-going COA effort to bring attention to the inequities faced by Commissioned Corps officers who work at BOP facilities.
